North End Neighborhood Organization Membership Application

Are you interested in volunteering or just want to be more involved in the North End? If so you’d be a great member of our team. Board members make recommendations to the city on a wide variety of items including; business licenses, zoning, housing, policy, and in 2023-2024 we are updating our Large Area Plan which is a10-year vision for the North End and we could use your help!  The time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours a week and we meet both in person and remotely. We are currently requesting membership forms to be filled out & submitted to NENO no later than March 12, 2023. You will then be put on the ballot and on-line voting will start March 16th and ends April 11th. There are open seats in all quadrants.  Members will be seated at our April 18, 2023 Annual Meeting at Hi Hi Event Center-1079 Rice Street beginning at 6:00 PM.

NENO holds its Annual Meeting and Elections the first Monday in April. In odd years, the odd numbered quadrant seats are up for election, in even numbered years the even numbered quadrant seats are up for election. If there is an open seat in a quadrant there will be elections for that seat as well. There are District Wide seats, Business Owner seats and Youth seats as well.

The quadrant boundaries are defined as:

Quadrant 1: Maryland Avenue, Rice Street, Burlington Northern RR Tracks, 35E,

Quadrant 2: Maryland Avenue, Rice Street, Burlington Northern RR Tracks, Dale Street

Quadrant 3 Larpenteur Avenue, Dale Street, Maryland Avenue, Rice Street

Quadrant 4: Larpenteur Avenue, 35E, Maryland Avenue, Rice Street
