The North End Development Team was created as a committee comprised of representatives from the North End Neighborhood Organization (NENO), North End Business Association (NEBA), Neighborworks Homepartners, Wards 1 and 5 City Council offices and City Planning and Economic Development (PED) staff and neighbors. The group exists to identify, rank and recommend projects for funding in order to enhance the economic climate and livability of the neighborhood.
North End funds can be used for interior and exterior improvements for commercial properties located in the North End with a percentage going to the Cultural Corridor (Rice Street)
Applicants may request both loan and grant money for their project. Outside funding to match loans and grants received are required.
Funding recipients must either own the property or have a seven-year lease.
Funding may require compliance with City policies-if required the City will work directly with you.
If interested take a look at the guidelines and contact the North End Neighborhood Organization at 651-488-4485 or ed@nenostpaul.org or cc@nenostpaul.org
