For concerns about interruptions in income and paying bills: Ramsey County
has available Emergency Assistance (EA) and Emergency General Assistance
(EGA).
Emergency Assistance helps adults with children and those who are pregnant.
Emergency General Assistance helps adults without children
EA and EGA help with shelter costs, such as past due rent/mortgage, or
damage deposit. EA and EGA also help pay for utilities, including
electricity, heat and water, when there is threat of disconnection.
