WHAT:
In the week leading up to Earth Day, Saint Paul City Council candidates will participate in public forums with a focus on climate action hosted by St. Paul 350.
Residents of Saint Paul wards 1, 3, 5, and 7 will have an opportunity to hear from candidates who have officially filed to run for City Council. Candidates in all four open seats will be asked climate-related questions and share their ideas for city-wide climate, equity, and energy action, reflecting the growing importance of the issue for Saint Paul residents.
The climate crisis intersects with many important issues Saint Paul faces including public health and safety, infrastructure, immigration, affordable housing, and workforce development.
